Morning Session: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Note: This itinerary is subject to minor adjustments based on the pace of the class and participants' needs. Participants should come prepared with comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes for the hands-on sessions. Clinical Skills Master Class - Day 2 Itinerary

Morning Session: Foley Catheter Instruction

- Time: 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM

- Introduction to Foley Catheters and their uses.

- Explanation of the equipment and supplies needed.

- Step-by-step demonstration of the proper insertion and securement of a Foley catheter.

- Hands-on practice for participants under supervision.

- Common complications and troubleshooting.

Lunch Break

- Time: 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM

- Lunch will be provided, and this is an excellent opportunity for networking and informal discussions.

Afternoon Session: Trach Suctioning

- Time: 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM

- Overview of tracheostomy care and the importance of suctioning.

- Demonstration of tracheostomy suctioning techniques.

- Hands-on practice for participants with mannequin models.

- Discussion of potential complications and emergency responses.

Afternoon Break

- Time: 2:00 PM - 2:15 PM

- Short break for refreshments and stretching.

Late Afternoon Session: Basic Wound Care - Wet to Dry Dressing Change

- Time: 2:15 PM - 4:00 PM

- Introduction to wound care principles and infection control.

- Explanation of wet-to-dry dressing change procedure.

- Step-by-step demonstration of dressing removal, cleansing, and re-dressing.

- Participants will practice on wound care models.
